FAQs
Do you take on one-off jobs or garden clearance? No. We specialise in regular garden maintenance.
How do you charge? For all regular maintenance work we have a set half day and full day rate, otherwise we charge on an hourly basis.
Do you operate during the winter months? Yes, we offer a year round service. We tend to close in January to minimise the impact of adverse weather and to have a rest. In the dormant season, depending on your garden’s needs, there are many important maintenance jobs that can be done e.g. winter pruning. We can adapt to your garden’s seasonal needs throughout the year.
Do you take garden waste away? No. Instead we can help you to recycle your garden waste using a home composting system. We can also use your council green waste bin. Autumn leaves can be recycled into leaf mould where possible.
Do you do landscaping or garden design work? We can produce planting plans tailored to your garden’s needs. However, we do not provide a specialised garden design service or undertake hard landscaping work.
Do you offer spraying as a service? No. We do not use herbicides or pesticides. We can advise you on effective organic solutions for weed and pest control, that are pet and wildlife friendly.
Are you qualified gardeners? Rachel holds a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Horticulture (with distinction) and a Level 2 Award in Environmental Conservation and is registered with The Gardeners Guild. Emil has several years experience gained as an employed and self-employed gardener, together with running and owning his own business as a partner at Real Green Gardeners.
